SPLASH has quickly developed into an organization header by Clarence Gardiner, Tom Gensel, and Doug Shimp. They are all American Red Cross Canoeing certified and CPR certified. Clarence has also taken the NJ boaters safety: small craft course. The group was put together to instruct canoeing and kayaking lessons for Girl Scout events. It is an all volunteer based production. All of the equipment comes from the Gardiners, the Gensels, the Shimps and many of the other volunteers. The group got its real start at the beginning of summer '06 and since then they have worked with about 620 kids. We create a fun laid-back atmosphere for all age groups, young and old. If any leaders are interested we would enjoy taking your group out on Woodstown Memorial Lake or anywhere you would like.
